PetZoom Pet Park Indoor Pet Potty, Large 20"x30"x2"

The PetZoom Pet Park is the unique solution for pet accident-free living. Perfect for when you're late coming home to let the dog out, or unable to let your pet outside due to bad weather. Ideal as a training tool for your puppy, it's also great in assisting an older dog that might be unable to go to the bathroom outside. Pet Park is made of a synthetic grass material that looks and feels real. It is weather proof, so you can leave it outside on the patio or balcony. PetZoom Pet Park is non-toxic and is safe to use around your pet. Easy to clean, just wash in warm soapy water. Pet Zoom Pet Park is an indoor pet potty made of a synthetic surface that’s similar to grass. It prevents pet accidents by giving your dog a designated place to urinate instead of using your carpet or furniture. Pet Park's triple stage protection allows fluid to pass through the anti-microbial mat. The mat stays high above the liquid in the collection tray because of Pet Park’s elevated grid system. It can hold an entire gallon of liquid! Simply empty the collection tray at the end of the day. Pet Park’s reusable surface stays fresh and sanitary. It rinses clean and stores easily. Now, you don’t have to spend lots of money on expensive dog walkers or messy wee wee pads. With Pet Park, you’ll be happy your dog went in the house!

BaRF Update

BaRF Update

I'm trying to transition my felines to a Bones and Raw Food diet. Overall, the transition needs to go slowly. Each day the felines are getting about a teaspoon of raw food in addition to their normal diet (twice daily). If someone gets too much, the diet truly lives up to its acronym. . . a slow transition is key.

Younger stomachs adjust much faster and easily. As a result, Grigsby, Curio, and Vidalia are all gungho about the diet and tolerating extra amounts. Older stomachs vary. Gumbo LOVES the diet but still needs a bit slower transition. Ariel, Cumin, Raven, and MoMo are a bit hit or miss. Some meals they prefer not to have any at all. Typically three of the four eat it any given time, but it always varies which three. These are the felines that have essentially always eaten dry food. Cumin and Raven were born in a shelter and never ever had to fend for themselves. Ariel was found on the streets when a kitten. We adopted her young. We occasionally had mice, but they felt perfectly comfortable hanging out with her. Never a good mouser, that's for sure. MoMo starved when dumped out on the streets, so I suspect he was adopted as a wee kitten by the gentleman who died (that man's son dumped all four of his dad's cats out on the street the day after he died). Raven seems to have the most sensitive belly overall. I'm okay if Raven opts out as she may have to transition to a renal diet soon anyway. Ariel takes at least ten minutes to eat what Curio gulps down in twenty seconds. She'll do the switch as long as her meals are protected (from Curio's harrassment). Cumin and MoMo may just take more time to mentally adjust to the change in diet.

I guess all this is a rambling way of saying the transition is going well. Now I just need to find a cleaner that doesn't give me a migraine. I hate the thought of raw meat on anything, and the cats don't necessarily keep the meal on their plates. Raven hates dishes, by the way. She won't eat out of them as a general rule. Always knocks food onto the floor (eats dry food off a carpet square). Hopefully I can find a decent cleaner without any scent. . . sigh.

Mad Cat

Mad Cat

MoMo is mad at me, and I can't quite figure out why. Or, at least, I can't figure out what he is trying to tell me. Yesterday he ran up to me twice absolutely desperate to cuddle. I held him and let him press hard against me with his head tucked under my chin, pressing up, purring incessantly. He wanted to tell me something. I checked, and his wee wee pads were clean (he doesn't like to use a dirty pad). I went back to cleaning the house both times. When I finished cleaning out stains (not urine) in the carpet on the stairs, Magnus alerted. Magnus just sat straight up and listened. So I listened. Yep, that undeniable sound of tinkling. . . yep, on the carpeted stairs. Don't know what MoMo's point was, but I put him into his own room for now. He physically seems fine. I checked him for wounds, sores, or anything bothersome. He continues to be incredibly affectionate and is using his pad in the room (Kevin gets worried about the bed). I don't know what MoMo was trying to tell me, but he obviously was upset about something. Did he just want his sink turned back on? Sigh. Good thing I love this boy so much. If he did this at the neighbors, he'd immediately be put to sleep. . .

Whats in your bag?

Whats in your bag?

After i saw your 'Whats in your bag" Rosie, I just couldn't help myself. There are a few reasons why its fitting.
1. i got a new bag.

(having to have a massive bag is one of the many things i have to change in my life from now on and its nice to represent the cnanges and hopefully embrace them.)
and last but not least 3. I like doing 'Whats in your bags?'
